Certified Pilates Instructor
As a teenager, Sarah was introduced to the Pilates practice through mat classes, to strengthen her core as a ballet dancer. Later in life, Sarah experienced the benefits of the Pilates Reformer to tone the finer local muscles for injury prevention and precision in movements. Receiving her training in the Polestar Pilates method to bring physical therapy knowledge into movement sequences, Sarah is also NCPC (formerly PMA) certified.
Sarah incorporates the Pilates practice of intentional breath to facilitate deeper connection to the core, elongation of the spine, release unnecessary gripping, and increase endurance. Her desire is to continue learning how correct alignment in movement can bring health to the body’s joints, muscles and organs. Outside the studio, Sarah enjoys bike rides with her husband, Bill, as well as spending time with their three children and cheering them on in their various sports.
